We've got half a dozen tests going on at once, or so it seems. Maddie, I know you're doing the physical examination and I'm running the tests on his blood and urine. I'm not sure what's going to come up, but we've got a whole host of other tests to try on our newest addition to the MedLab.
Damn it, we were just coming out of the woods.
Let's see what we can find. I don't like my students dropping cold to the floor without a good reason.

Date: 2004-11-11 11:52 pm (UTC)But...Maddie, run the MRI again, please? There's something odd about them and I want another set of readings. I've got his file spread out on my desk.
While we're at it, let's hit him with the X-Ray's, see if there's anything inside the lad that might give us a clue. But so far...physically, he's fine.

Well, damn...
Date: 2004-11-12 12:46 am (UTC)But there's no history of this. In him or in his family.
Re: Well, damn...
Date: 2004-11-12 01:00 am (UTC)The x-ray's coming back clear of anything vaguely resembling a tumour or damage... A neurotransmitter problem?
Re: Well, damn...
Date: 2004-11-12 01:04 am (UTC)And...wait.
I'm looking at these under new light. Literally. I'm in another room. These are _not_ clustered around the parts of his brain for long-term memory, are they? Damn it.
They are.
One more go with the tests can't hurt. I want to triple check these readings. Poor kid's putting up with this pretty well.
Re: Well, damn...
Date: 2004-11-12 01:24 am (UTC)This might be a long shot, but... do you think it's something to do with the Skippy incident? I know Charles helped Jamie deal with those memories, but if it's the memory centres, that can't be a coincidence, can it?
Re: Well, damn...
Date: 2004-11-12 01:27 am (UTC)Charles is good but I'm thinking something must have gone wrong.
Between the two of us, and Henry, we're damned good.
But this is beyond what we can humanly do.
Time to refer, then?

Re: Time to refer, then?
Date: 2004-11-12 01:54 am (UTC)wantneed to get away from here for the weekend. If you and Hank stand in for me that week, I'll do the same when Nathan finally gets around to that kidnapping deal. ;)
