Jamie

We've got half a dozen tests going on at once, or so it seems. Maddie, I know you're doing the physical examination and I'm running the tests on his blood and urine. I'm not sure what's going to come up, but we've got a whole host of other tests to try on our newest addition to the MedLab.

Damn it, we were just coming out of the woods.

Let's see what we can find. I don't like my students dropping cold to the floor without a good reason.

Physical exam's bringing up nothing, same as the other day. There's no sign of head injury, his pupil reactions are perfectly normal, no symptoms other than the falling flat on his face... Pulse and blood pressure are slightly elevated, but that's probably due to worry about the whole thing. He says he's been seeing things, has been for a few days now, and when I looked him over the other day, he checked out fine.

Looks like it's time for the MRI, the EEG and the other machines that go ping, but you're better on his brain function.

*nods* I think we're both heading in the same direction... these symptoms, the hallucinations and all, are all pointing towards some kind of brain anamoly.

Running him through again as we speak, and the EEG results should be in your email. I'll run the X-rays once I'm done with the MRI.

The Bob clusters? (Yes, I'm using his name - it's as good as any) Yeah, you're right, there's definitely a lot of activity there that shouldn't be. The hippocampus would explain some of the hallucinations too.

The x-ray's coming back clear of anything vaguely resembling a tumour or damage... A neurotransmitter problem?

No shaking the machine that goes ping, Moira. It's doing it's best.

This might be a long shot, but... do you think it's something to do with the Skippy incident? I know Charles helped Jamie deal with those memories, but if it's the memory centres, that can't be a coincidence, can it?

Time to refer, then?

Do you want to call Charles, or shall I? My apparent mind-reading skills aside, yes, we need the big brain on this one...

Actually, I wanted to talk to you about that. Thanksgiving next week and I really want need to get away from here for the weekend. If you and Hank stand in for me that week, I'll do the same when Nathan finally gets around to that kidnapping deal. ;)
