Heads Up

To all Medlab Helpers:

The X-Men, as some of you will already know, are off on a mission on Saturday. Madelyn and I are both going, and Moira and Jean will be here at the Mansion. As you can probably guess, given that Madelyn is going with us, we expect to be dealing with wounded - although not necessarily on the team, so don't worry too much. There will be plenty of others involved. Casualties may be coming in as early as Saturday evening, so the Medlab needs to be prepared and all of you rested by then. Make sure there are plenty of bandages, etc, ready... we are so prone to cuts and scrapes. We'll all do our best to keep more serious injuries to a minimum, though. (And coffee. We will definitely need coffee)

I know I can count on you all to support Moira and Jean in every way possible, and I thank you in advance. Wish us luck.

I'll be there bright and early Saturday. And fuzzy and late tonight. ;) Strange'll just have to let me off class this week.

I'd suggest sleeping in on Saturday, if you can... you may be up very, very late Saturday night. It's bad enough that *I* have to be awake early on Saturday, I won't inflict it on the rest of you.

I think, for the time I'm not sleeping or actually helping set up, I might do a little extra cooking. If Dani doesn't mind it, and all. Make sure there are things ready to hand without much extra work for anybody who mostly needs gentle food, or something.

Or treats for welcoming home people who aren't hurt or not much. And to feed people who forget to eat.

I'll be doing that then. Is there enough water and... er... Gatorade, or whatnot, in the fridges down there? Shall I bring an extra ginger ale in case anybody's feeling a bit sickish?

Extra water, Gatorade, and ginger ale would all be good. As would extra supplies in general... we're likely to all be exhausted and ravenous when we get back, so anything nourishing that can be eaten quickly would be wonderful. And could you check the supplies of sustenance to be administered intravenously as well?

I remember how everyone ate after the last invasion. Quick, nourishing, comforting, and mild in various combinations will be ready. And safe and separate from the snacks for DVD-watching!
