Regarding: Test Results

Dear Colleagues,

The test results for our four guests have returned and to say the least they are shocking. All four register on all spectrum as baseline human. It is as if their x-gene has simply been plucked from their being! While it's not unheard of for another mutant to be able to suppress another's gift for a short time and within proximity, I've never encountered a case like this before (though that doesn't say much because half the cases we get are unusual here at Xavier's).

We will continue to run tests, however I believe our best course of action may be to attempt tracking down this woman Y. Petrovic has identified as "Haven." Discussion of possible treatment options will occur at 10:00am tomorrow morning in my office, until then, get some rest, I'll be on call.

I'll be there, Hank. Has anyone been out to take a look at the places where the patients were right before this? Might be worth taking a look for any common environmental factors.

Doctor Voight took full histories from all of them and aside from all living in the same place, they were all at the District X street fair recently. I'll see if we can make contact in that area to see if anyone there is experiencing similar symptoms.

I know of a Haven in District X; she should not be hard to find. Yvette and Cammie seem to believe that she is responsible, but how this would be I am not sure. There is always the possibility that someone overheard what was said and decided to make a wish come true.

I wish we knew if what has happened is a temporary measure or if it is possible that it is a permanent one; the act of losing powers temporarily due to use of an inhibitor, another mutant's power, or overuse of powers is one thing; having a genetic structure altered is an entirely different matter.

I have not volunteered at Haven's clinic as it is a holistic one and therefore not quite my area of medical practices, but I know where it is and can go speak with her. Even if she is not responsible, she may know who is.
