Calling all troops!
Since the medlab needs it, and things are relatively quiet at the moment, and Jean and I agree, it's time to declare Friday our annual "Clean Up Medlab From Top To Bottom" Day. All helpers and staff to report bright and early - Moira, you get to be supervisor. There's a hat and a badge and everything. *grins* If we all pitch in, we'll get it done in plenty of time for the traditional pizza and soda session by the pool in the afternoon.

And this just goes to show how dangerous these journals are, and how you should never turn on your computer before you've had your coffee. My range isn't even good enough yet that I could claim I was picking up on the dreams of someone in, I don't know, Japan or Australia or somewhere where it is Friday.
Definitely need more coffee.
(But yes, I think we can cut the night shift for the most part, unless there's a mission out, in which case one of us ought to be awake when they come back.)

If coffee is needed, there's a fresh pot on its way down shortly. As soon as I find my shoes.
(But of course. And I think suspending nights to mission-only will give all of us a break. Which is good considering our new arrivals and the attention they need.)

(Definitely. With a pair quasi-out on mater/paternity leave, we need to find a way to cut back or we'll go crazy. And we did manage before when it was just me, and Hank when he wasn't on tours or working elsewhere.)

(Agreed. Crazy is Bad. And I have no doubt you managed to manage admirably on your own before, but the school population has trebled since those days. With a bit of careful scheduling, I can't see why we can't all get decent working hours. Unless we want to live in the lab. ;) )

(Oh, agreed, there's no way I'd want to go back to it being just me with this many students and staff (so many of whom are accident prone). And anyone who wants to live in the lab is free to do so, but I'm reccomending a psyche eval. for them...)

(Thought you'd see it that way. Although, at risk of jinxing us, it's been an amazingly quiet summer...)

(It really has. Although if the next crises comes any time soon I'm blaming you for saying this. :) )
