Forge had an accident this afternoon. In brief, he wanted to cheer Jay up and thought that teaching himself to ride would be a good way to do this. Unfortunately, his saddle wasn't cinched properly and he fell, shattering both the radius and ulna in his left forearm. His X-rays are showing some anomalous things as well, so I've restrained the arm but haven't cast it yet so I can run some more tests. Even more worryingly, this is the arm his prosthetic is attached to, and with both bones shattered there's no anchor for his hand. Hank, can you look over the x-rays as well, and talk with him about it? I know enough about prosthetics to know I'd be in over my head on this.

I've called Forge's father and he has made plans to come up to the school as soon as he can, and I'll be letting the school at large know in just a moment.
